Martin Environmental Technologies LP (MET) transitions to new Leadership Team

03/04/2023

In October 2022, a change in MET's management was phased in with Mr. Marcelo Farah succeeding Mr. Zenon Semanyshyn as its President. Zenon along with Martin GmbH's leadership team was instrumental in the company formation and start-up (2019) and then managing the administrative, operational and financial aspects of the US corporate entity over its first three (3) years.

Marcelo joined MET in February 2022, and his initial focus was on leading MET's supply chain activities as well as transitioning into the leadership role. Marcelo was previously employed by Metso Outotec where he fulfilled numerous business management, sales, and supply chain leadership roles in the mining, aggregate, and metal recycling industries over a twenty-four (24) year career.

Along with the change in Presidents, Mr. Glenn Madelmayer (Vice-President – Operations) also relinquished his full-time role in 2022. Glenn was instrumental in the initial spare parts outfitting of MET's warehouse and establishment of machine shop and warehouse services for MET's customer base.

For 2023, both Glenn and Zenon have transitioned into semi-retirement, part-time Martin support roles.

Mr. Ulrich Martin was in MET's Rockaway office in November 2022 for the annual MET/Martin GmbH management and staff meeting. During the visit, Mr. Martin recognized both Zenon and Glenn for their work in establishing a solid foundation in the US for MET to continue to prosper under Marcelo's leadership.

Ulrich presented Zenon and Glenn with the familiar Martin GmbH equipment nameplates engraved with their respective names, the year of company formation and recognition as being employees 1 and 2.
